With deep sorrow, we say farewell to Aisaku Suzuki. He was a special person and artist whose memory will remain unforgettable in our hearts. Rest in peace, Aisaku San.
Aisaku Suzuki was born 1932 in Kobe, Japan.
| 1958-1963 |
he studied French language and literature followed by ceramics in Kyoto with special emphasis on stoneware techniques and glazes. |
| 1964-1968 |
From he maintained his own studio in Kyoto |
| 1968-1969 |
he travelled in Europe for study purposes including time in Austria, France, Denmark and Sweden, and worked as a ceramic artist in France and Austria |
| 1971-1979 |
he maintained his own studio in southwest France, near Bordeaux |
| 1979 |
he moved to Germany and set up his own studio in Breisach |
| since 1969 |
Aisaku Suzuki has been a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (IAC) Geneva |

he is a member of the Association of Professional Artists (BBK), Freiburg |
| since 2010 |
he is a member of the Union of freelance Sculptors Baden-Württemberg (BfB). |

He has had numerous solo exhibitions in Germany, France, Japan, Austria and Switzerland an Luxemburg.
He has participated in international ceramic symposiums in the Czech Republic, Latvia, Austria and Hungary. His works are in museums and private collections in Germany, France, Japan, Austria,Switzerland and Czech Republic.
